The Shuffleboard Planet Story
It all started eleven years ago, in a home attic in Orlando. My two loving parents bought us, their son and daughter, a rickety old plastic foosball table. My sister and I were barely tall enough to see the top of the table back then, but that didn't stop us from getting hooked on the game. We spent many summer hours in that attic competing in friendly sibling rivalry.
Foosball proved to be a "gateway game" for us. Soon, our passion for gaming tables spread to the ever fun shuffleboards at our local bars and friends' houses.
When we moved out on our own and decided to start buying our own gaming tables, we found the process of shopping for a shuffleboard table locally quite frustrating. Most "big box" stores simply didn't carry a wide variety of quality shuffleboards. Even stores that had tables generally suffered from poor after-sales service.
Shuffleboards can take a beating even before they get to your home, and without solid after-sales service, you may find yourself in a customer service void and left to either spend too much on servicing or--worse yet--with a damaged table collecting dust over the years.
Finding the perfect balance of service and product for us was virtually impossible.
That's why we decided to start Shuffleboard Planet; To help people who share our passion with shuffleboards in their quest to find the perfect table, all the while providing quality service and a product in perfect condition.
